Our customer is an international industrial group and a leading manufacturer in the Machine Clothing (MC) business with production sites in Germany, Spain, Belgium, and Italy as well as sales offices across Europe. Tasks:
* Lead all HR activities in Europe (plants and sales offices)
* Ensure compliance with European labor law, corporate policies, and SOX requirements
* Manage labor relations and maintain constructive cooperation with works councils and unions
* Lead and develop the European HR team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
* Support leadership in talent acquisition, training, and succession planning
* Oversee compensation & benefits, payroll, and HR analytics
* Analyze and provide recommendations in line with Total Rewards policies
* Drive HR integration, organizational change, and continuous process improvement
* Act as strategic partner to business leadership and HR colleagues in America, Asia and Europe.

Your profile:
* University degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
* 10+ years of HR experience, incl. 3+ years in a senior HR role in an industrial, international environment
* Proven expertise in European labor law, works councils, and labor relations
* Experience with organizational change and/or post-merger processes
* Strong background in payroll, compensation & benefits, and HR systems (ideally SAP)
* Fluent in German and English; other languages are an advantage
* Residence in the Cologne/Bonn area is required
