2. Initiierung und Umsetzung von Kostenreduktions- und Einsparungsmaßnahmen in den Produktionsstätten unter Anwendung von CIP-, VA/VE- und Market-Basket-Methoden
3. Sicherstellung der Kosten‑, Termin‑ und Lieferantentreue entlang des gesamten Beschaffungsprozesses
4. Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Stakeholdern zur Lösung von beschaffungsrelevanten Fragestellungen
5. Unterstützung des RFQ‑Prozesses, einschließlich Angebotsbewertung, Kostenanalyse und Vergabeempfehlungen
6. Durchführung regelmäßiger Compliance‑Prüfungen zur Überwachung von Preisen, Lieferungen und vertraglich definierten Kennzahlen
7. Überwachung der Einhaltung von Richtlinien, Prozessen und Vorgaben der Geschäftseinheit sowie der Einkaufsorganisation
8. Durchführung von Aktivitäten im Vertrags‑ und Bestelllebenszyklusmanagement, einschließlich Reporting auslaufender oder veralteter Bestellungen und Verträge, Vertrags‑ und Bestellbereinigung sowie Abschluss
9. Unterstützung und Umsetzung von Beschaffungsinitiativen auf lokaler, regionaler und globaler Ebene
10. Fachliche und disziplinarische Führung von bis zu sechs Mitarbeitenden sowie Sicherstellung einer positiven, wertschätzenden und leistungsorientierten Arbeitsatmosphäre
11. Wahrnehmung von Geschäftsreisen im Rahmen der Tätigkeit

13. Procurement of goods, materials, services, and capital equipment in accordance with AAM procurement policies and procedures, as well as independent execution of day‑to‑day purchasing activities, including contract negotiations
14. Initiation and implementation of cost reduction and savings initiatives at manufacturing sites through the application of CIP, VA/VE, and market basket methodologies
15. Ensuring supplier compliance with cost, quality, and timing requirements throughout the entire procurement process
16. Close collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to resolve procurement‑related issues and challenges
17. Support of RFQ processes, including quotation analysis, cost evaluation, and sourcing award recommendations
18. Execution of regular compliance audits to monitor pricing, deliveries, and key performance indicators defined in supplier contracts
19. Monitoring adherence to business unit and procurement policies, standards, and procedures
20. Management of contract and purchase order life cycles, including reporting on expiring or obsolete orders and contracts, order and contract administration, clean‑up, and closure activities
21. Support and implementation of procurement initiatives at local, regional, and global levels
22. Disciplinary and functional leadership of a team up to six employees, including the creation and maintenance of a positive, respectful, and high‑performance working environment
23. Willingness and ability to travel for business purposes as required by the position
24. All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Deutsch:
25. Abgeschlossenes betriebswirtschaftliches Studium mit technischem Verständnis oder vergleichbare kaufmännische Ausbildung
26. Mehrjährige (mindestens 7 Jahre) einschlägige Berufserfahrung im Einkauf, idealerweise im indirekten Einkauf und in einem Unternehmen mit hohem Beschaffungsvolumen, vorzugsweise in der Automobilindustrie
27. Fundierte Erfahrung in Verhandlungsführung, Kostenanalyse und Lieferantenmanagement sowie Grundverständnis von Fertigungsprozessen
28. Ausgeprägte Kommunikations‑, Durchsetzungs‑ und Führungskompetenz in Kombination mit einer proaktiven und lösungsorientierten Arbeitsweise
29. Hohe Belastbarkeit, Flexibilität und Reisebereitschaft sowie sehr gute IT‑Anwenderkenntnisse (insbesondere MS Office und ERP‑Systeme, z. B. Oracle)
Englisch:
30. Completed degree in business administration with technical understanding or a comparable commercial qualification
31. Minimum of seven years of professional experience in a procurement function, preferably in indirect purchasing and within a high‑volume organization, ideally in the automotive industry
32. Strong expertise in negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier management, combined with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes
33. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, supported by a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset
34. High level of resilience, flexibility, and willingness to take responsibility, including business travel readiness and very good IT skills (MS Office and ERP systems such as Oracle)
