Job Purpose:
The Oracle Fusion Support Engineer is responsible for the effective operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion applications and related IT solutions. These systems are critical in supporting the organization's service business, which includes technical support, customer care, repair avoidance, logistics, repair, refurbishment, spare part management, and sustainability initiatives across the EMEA region.
Key Accountabilities:
Supervision received:
Direct supervision from Regional IT Services Manager.
Collaboration with:
EMEA IT development and support teams, regional business stakeholders and external IT vendors, including Oracle.
Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain Oracle Fusion modules to support business operations.
* Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) SQL reports.
* Monitor and manage the full lifecycle of functional and technical service tickets.
* Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues in a timely manner.
* Adhere to incident response protocols and implement preventive actions to reduce recurring issues.
* Collaborate with external vendors to ensure effective solution delivery.
* Perform configuration and coding tasks for approved system changes in line with corporate standards and Oracle best practices.
* Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for system enhancements and quarterly Oracle upgrades.
* Monitor system performance to ensure compliance with business requirements.
* Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Performance Standards:
* Reliable operation and enhancement of live production systems.
* Effective implementation of change initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Interfaces:
* Internal: Regional IT teams, business users across EMEA.
* External: IT service providers and technology vendors (including Oracle).
Role Requirements:
Education:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
* Oracle Fusion certifications are an advantage.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in ERP support roles, preferably with Oracle Fusion in Finance, SCM, CX, and/or WMS domains.
* Strong working knowledge of (PL)SQL and Oracle BI Publisher.
* Functional expertise in Oracle Fusion modules (ERP/Finance, SCM, CX, WMS).
* Familiarity with Oracle SaaS/PaaS integration and extension frameworks.
* Technical experience with Oracle PaaS tools such as OIC, ATP, and APEX.

* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Languages:
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

Hours: Fulltime, permanent placement
Location: Onsite in either Hamburg Germany or Lugano Switzerland.
Salary: €65k plus benefits
