Digital Identities, Self-Sovereign Identity, and eIDAS 2.0 are topics that match your skills? Then you are a perfect fit for Accenture: We are an international consulting and technology company, a digital innovation center, and a forward-thinking creative agency all in one. Our globally operating Digital Identity Team not only works on laying the foundations for the digital world of the future but also develops digital identity solutions together with our clients that can be used by all citizens and companies. Our solutions form the basis for fully digital processes in, for example, citizen offices and the financial sector, up to the identification and provision of a variety of digital proofs in the EU abroad. Originally started by the EU, the implementation of the eIDAS 2.0 ecosystem has now reached a multitude of organizations across all sectors in Europe. And we also work closely worldwide with countries like the USA, Japan, and Singapore – because the digital world does not stop at national borders.
The Work:
* You advise our national and international clients both technically and professionally on digital identity solutions – in the EU with a focus on the implementation of eIDAS 2.0.
* Whether it's an ID card, driver's license, or certificate: you help define and implement secure and, above all, user-friendly identity solutions.
* You are responsible for your own work packages/customer projects and lead mixed teams of developers and professional colleagues around the implementation of digital identity solutions.
* For this purpose, you develop the technical solution design as a (lead) architect, including the development of architecture for the respective identity solutions (mobile wallet apps as well as backend and enterprise wallets).
* In technical code reviews, you work closely with our development teams, enriching them with ideas and important insights.
* Travel activity of up to 100% may be required in this role.
Here’s What You Need:
* Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
* 3+ years of professional experience in the field of digital identities (consulting, development, research, etc.).
* Deep understanding in at least two of the following areas: self-sovereign identity, IAM, OpenIDConnect & OID4VC protocol family, and verifiable credentials.
* Extensive practical experience in IT architecture, particularly in the digital identity environment, as well as basic programming skills.
* Fluent in German and English.
Bonus Points if you have:
* A good understanding of developments at the EU level regarding the eIDAS 2.0 regulation and the development of the eIDAS ecosystem.
* Profound understanding of the Architecture and Reference Framework of the European Commission as well as the Architecture Proposal from the BMI for the implementation of eIDAS 2.0 in Germany.
