Are you an expert in Software Asset Management looking for an opportunity to shape and optimize processes in a dynamic environment? Do you have deep knowledge of software licensing models and enjoy ensuring compliance while identifying cost-saving opportunities? If so, we want you on our team!
As a Software Asset Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for maintaining high data quality within our Software Asset Management (SAM) tool. You will oversee the end-to-end software lifecycle for specific vendors like Microsoft and SAP, ensuring compliance and driving efficiency in software usage.
* Implement and optimize Software Portfolio & Lifecycle Management strategies.
* Ensure compliance with vendor licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
* Act as the subject matter expert for licensing models of key vendors (Microsoft, SAP, and others).
* Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities in software licensing and renewals.
* Develop and monitor key performance metrics for software license compliance.
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, including software installation and inventory systems.
* Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken).
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to coordinate projects and report progress effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
* In-depth knowledge of license models for software vendors (Microsoft, SAP, etc.).
