As a Lead Product Designer for our AI Agents team, you will take a systems-oriented approach to define the vision for creating a best-in-class AI automation platform. You will drive product innovation focusing on our next generation of agentic solutions while continuously improving our existing creation and management experience for AI Agents. You will collaborate closely with other designers in the space to ensure an optimal and consistent end-to-end experience. Your role will be critical to the success and adoption of the AI agents product mission and help solidify Zendesk as a leading and differentiated AI-powered customer service automation platform.
You will get to collaborate mostly with teams in Portugal, Germany, Denmark and Poland but also distributed teams in AMER and APAC.

* Live and breathe AI, self-service and adoption, thinking about how to make a product easily adopted, efficiently and impactfully configured — no matter the type of customer.
* Partner with the product & engineering teams to research and develop new AI automation and bot capabilities for our customers.
* Work across cross-functional teams, partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists on developing designs from ideas to execution and ensuring a detailed approach to the design process.
* Design interaction models, flows, wireframes, and hi-fidelity mockups that promote ease of use and optimise how customers interact with our products while partnering with other designers on the larger product vision.
* Present design solutions to partners and senior executives, defend design decisions, and incorporate feedback into the design cycle
What you bring to the role
* 7+ years of professional experience in designing consumer or business SaaS applications (enterprise is a plus)
* Professional experience designing for a product led growth mindset to optimise for adoption.
* Prior experience with designing generative AI powered product experiences and AI enhanced workflows.
* Ability to operate in a technical environment and help visualize the impact of technical decisions on the global user experience.
* Proactive self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and capable of communicating and prototyping design concepts rapidly at all levels of fidelity.
* A solid design process and collaboration mindset, as well as the ability to educate product teams on how to best work with designers.
* A strong visual portfolio that showcases your work, provides details of your role on projects, and shows examples of functional designs that you have developed from start to finish.
