The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions.
* Develop strategies to drive sales growth and achieve KPIs within the assigned region
* Identify new business opportunities and secure orders from adjacent industries
* Prepare and negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholders
* Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally
* Monitor market trends and competitors, sharing insights to support strategic decisions
Key qualifications include:
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Master's degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline, combined with at least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment
* Strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions
* Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customers
* Fluent in English, with additional skills in German a plus
* Strategic and analytical mindset, comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities
