A leading European retail and consumer business is currently looking to strengthen its FP&A team with an experienced FP&A Controller. The role
As FP&A Controller, you will take ownership of core planning and forecasting processes while acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders. You will be involved in both short term performance management and longer term strategic planning initiatives.
Key responsibilities
* Ownership of the annual budget process and monthly forecasting
* Development of integrated multi year financial plans
* Analysis of monthly financial results with clear commentary on P&L and balance sheet variances
* Identification and implementation of process and performance improvement opportunities
* Preparation of management and shareholder level reporting
* Active support of management in steering the business, setting targets, and defining strategy
* Proactive identification of risks and opportunities across the business
Your profile
* Degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable qualification
* 5 to 10 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or a similar role
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a high affinity for numbers
* Confident communicator, able to explain complex financial topics to non finance stakeholders
* Hands on, proactive working style with strong teamwork skills
* Solid systems experience, ideally across Excel, Power BI, SAP environments, and modern EPM or CPM tools such as Jedox, Board, or LucaNet
