What's the role?
Team:
This team is responsible for managing the portfolio of products and services used in driver assistance and autonomous driving vehicles. The scope covers all related products in HERE’s portfolio from standard definition data for driver assistance solutions to centimeter accurate lane data & services for hands free driving. Additionally, the team will create immersive in-car use cases and software products to highlight the benefits of driver assistance. We handle topics and processes related to creation of new offerings ranging from
ideation, pricing, development and taking solutions into the market. To achieve this we participate in various activities with partners and customers to capture the market needs.

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager in Automotive Software Development to drive innovation and excellence in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and in-vehicle software solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership experience, and expertise in Android, Flutter, and React development.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for in-vehicle operating systems, interfaces, and cloud APIs.
2. Design and implement advanced GUI solutions for ADAS, with a focus on Android development.
3. Leverage modern development environments such as React and Flutter to create scalable, user-friendly applications.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of application development into broader system architectures.
5. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in automotive software to drive innovation in driver assistance and autonomous systems.
6. Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing software to ensure high performance and reliability
Who are you?
7. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent.
8. 10+ years of application development experience in Android, or extensive experience in Flutter or React
9. 5+ years of experience leading development teams and activities.
10. Strong expertise in architectural and system design is essential.
11. Proven track record in delivering complex products or custom solutions is required
12. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
13. Knowledge of other in-car operating systems, such as QNX and Automotive Grade Linux, would be a plus
14. Experience in working with automotive software is a plus
