Currently, we're looking for an Accounting/Finance Manager for our portfolio company - Tilta — a fintech enabling e-commerce businesses and marketplaces to embed white-label credit solutions into their platforms.
We are looking for an experienced specialist who will take ownership of key financial processes and contribute to the mission of providing businesses with fair and instant access to capital.
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations and play a crucial part in closing the books, ensuring compliance, and supporting our finance operation initiatives.
What Will You Do:
* Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger,
accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
* Lead the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
* Drive the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely
delivery
* Coordinate and review tax filings, liaise with external tax consultants, and ensure
regulatory compliance
* Perform and oversee payment runs, manage liquidity planning, and support cash
flow forecasting
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, financial planning, and
variance analysis
* Support operational debt financing activities with accurate data preparation and
timely responses
* Identify, implement, and manage process improvements and automation
opportunities within finance
* Respond to internal and external finance-related inquiries and support audit
processes
Your Profile:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* 4+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a fast-paced or international environment
* Good understanding of German GAAP/IFRS and German tax regulations
* Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and advanced
Excel/Google Sheets skills
* Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and analytical mindset
* Experience with process improvement and automation tools is a plus
* Strong communication skills in English and German
* A hands-on, ownership-driven attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities
