Your tasks:
As a Valuation Intern (m/f) you will be part of our Valuation team within the Finance department at Rocket Internet in our Headquarters in Berlin. You will work in a diverse, dynamic and international team that offers great development opportunities within the network of Rocket Internet.
The following tasks will be part of your new role:
1. Analysis of business plans, growth possibilities and financials of new ventures
2. Support in valuation of our portfolio companies
3. Active participation in Financial Modeling (Discounted Cash Flow, Option Price evaluation, Waterfall Models etc.)
4. Competitive analysis and market research on both private and public markets
5. Support in holding activities such as Accounting and Reporting
Your qualifications:
6. You should be enrolled in University and your studies should be Business related, preferably with a focus on Finance
7. Ideally gained first experience in Consulting, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory Services team or in a High-growth Start-up
8. You have strong analytical and structured thinking skills as well as hands-on mentality
9. You possess a dynamic work style and a high goal orientation
10. You are motivated and willing to learn quickly
11. The usage of relevant controlling instruments and common MS-Office programs, especially Excel, don’t pose a challenge to you
12. You are fluent in English, German is a plus
