In your new role, you are responsible for the correct customs classification of goods based on international regulations, product specifications and technical documentation, ensuring global trade compliance.You contribute to the design and automation of digital tools by setting up data products, evaluating data and supporting system updates to enhance process efficiency.Additionally, you analyze product data, maintain classification records in SAP GTS and EHS and ensure system accuracy and development.Furthermore, you work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously optimize customs-related processes and contribute to global compliance and risk mitigation initiatives.You contribute to training sessions, promote knowledge sharing across global customs teams and support projects with regulatory relevance and technical complexityLastly, you participate in classification audits, prepare documentation and support internal as well as external reporting requirements.WHAT YOU OFFER master’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or a comparable fieldseveral years of experience in customs classification or a related areaexpert knowledge in customs classification and basic understanding of relevant markets and industriesstrong skills in SAP GTS and EHS; ideally also familiar with OTCvery good language skills in German and Englishexperience in project management and confident presentation skills WHAT WE OFFER We offer an attractive salary with lucrative individual benefits such as a performance-related bonus or a share program.
