Our client is an European private equity investor with a diversified portfolio of high-growth software companies. To further professionalise the talent management, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial personality to fill the position of Head of Portfolio Talent (m/f/d).
Your tasks
• Strategic development and management of a central talent function on the investor side with a focus on management and key positions within the portfolio companies
• End-to-end responsibility for the entire executive search process for C-level and C-1 positions – from needs analysis and management of external headhunters to successful recruitment
• Close cooperation with the investment and value creation team to identify personnel requirements at an early stage, especially for new investments and in transformation situations
• Development and implementation of a standardised, scalable selection process for executives in the group
• Establishment and maintenance of a resilient network of qualified candidates, executive search partners and interim managers
• Advising the management of portfolio companies and the value creation team on strategic HR issues such as succession planning, management audits, compensation structures and organisational design
• Conducting market analyses and benchmarks on salaries, management structures and organisational models
• Further developing a group-wide talent strategy with a focus on quality, scalability and speed in recruiting
Your profile
• Several years of experience in C-level search and in-house recruitment, ideally with a focus on tech-driven environments
• Deep insight into the requirements for modern executives in scaling companies
• Ability to manage complex recruiting processes in a structured and efficient manner
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially when dealing with C-level executives
• Strategic thinking paired with pragmatic implementation skills
• Business fluent German and English skills
