Investment Fund Analyst Role

The key responsibilities of the Investment Fund Analyst include analysing, selecting, and monitoring investment funds within an open architecture framework. This crucial role involves developing investment content, delivering it efficiently, and providing tailored solutions to Discretionary Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisors. Additionally, the Investment Fund Analyst supports the Investment Office team in other related aspects, particularly in managing fund-of-funds.
This position is located in the Funds team within the Investment Office. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Funds.
* Conduct comprehensive fund analysis and select funds based on the defined process to contribute to the investment content of BIL Group
* Manage the BIL Invest fund of funds, overseeing daily operations, portfolio construction, and ensuring alignment with BIL's investment strategy
* Support sales activities by providing proactive information to the sales front office via multiple communication channels
* Perform quantitative and qualitative fund analysis using established processes and relevant data sources
* Select and maintain a list of approved mutual funds in line with BIL Group governance and procedures
* Follow up on approved funds, regularly contact asset managers, and identify better alternatives when necessary
* Participate in team communication efforts (intranet, emails, meetings)
* Take charge of day-to-day operations of the BIL Invest fund range, including flow management, risk management, guidelines monitoring, and portfolio construction
* Support communication efforts related to BIL Invest and provide proactive input to the respective investment committees
