We are looking for a structural engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Magdeburg to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for the structural design and dimensioning of conveyor technology equipment/systems
* Creation of structural systems in compliance with contract specifications and applicable international standards
* Creation of load assumptions, including consultation with the customer
* Optimization calculations to comply with specified mass budgets
* Support in the preparation of technical quotations
* Support for external partners
Requirements:
* Successfully completed degree in engineering (primarily with a focus on steel and mechanical engineering)
* Three to five years of professional experience in the field of structural analysis of conveyor equipment/systems or comparable technology
* Knowledge of the structural design of equipment steel structures and other steel construction elements
* MS Office skills and knowledge of structural analysis and FEM software, e.g., RSTAB, RFEM
* Confident handling of standards (Eurocode, FEM II, ISO 5049, DIN 22261, etc.)
* Practical English skills at level B2
