Your tasks
As a Certification Specialist, you are responsible for formal product certifications and accreditations for government use of Utimacos Information Security (IS) data security products. You are also responsible for maintaining and improving the IS data security certification strategy and adjusting site accreditations for new locations.
1. Collaborate with the responsible assessors and certification/zulassung authorities (BSI) as well as with colleagues from software development and product management;
2. Identify, pursue and access security requirements for governmental data security approvals such as EU/NATO-Confidential, VS-V, VS-NfD, EU/NATO-Restricted, EU/NATO Secret and Geheim;
3. Being responsible for the successful certification and sustainable security architecture of our IS data security product lines;
4. Further develop the holistic governmental data security approval strategy;
5. Collaborate with the rest of the certification team to further certify data security products according to Common Criteria, FIPS, PCI, and other certification schemes;
6. Assist in developing a strategy to enable Utimaco to process more certifications efficiently within an agreed timeframe, utilizing also onsite regional presence;
7. Actively support the team to meet all commitments and deadlines;
Your profile
8. You have a University degree in Technical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
9. You have a track record of successfully leading Common Criteria, EU/NATO restricted (or higher) approval projects with approval bodies through the full project lifecycle - specification to delivery
10. You are experienced in writing Security Targets based on protection profiles.
11. You have experience in writing technical documentation, system security architecture documents, functional specifications and process descriptions/workflows; ideally operated in the Information Technology sector at a product manufacturer as a developer or architect
12. You have excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills in English/German
