Your prospective job:
For our international client in the field of aviation and space, we are looking for you as a Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/d) for Aerospace Safety-Critical Software in Munich.
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections and reviews across development tasks (Ecvaluation of lifecycle data/ products)
- Observe development and verification activities
- Track configuration and change-management processes (consideration of development data, participation in Change Control Board)
- Validate that problem reports meet guidelines and close accordingly
- Review configuration baselines and CM documentation
- Support the Lead Project Quality Assurance in the project (QA planning and strategy, conduct process and product audits)
- Monitor supplier QA activities (Quality assurance)
- Review deliveries for conformity and quality (Milestones, Management of deviations and non-conformities, status reporting)
Your profile:
- A degree in the field of Computer Science, Software Development with technical background, Aerospace Engineer or comparable qualification
- 3 years work experience in the quality assurance activities required for development of safety-critical embedded software
- Practical knowledge in the implementation of quality assurance processes
- Know-How of configuration and change management (Serena Dimensions and IBM Rational Synergy CM/Change) required
- Knowledge of DO178C, DO330, DO331, EN9100 would be preferred
- Microsoft office skills (Excel and Word)
- Experience as qualified aerospace auditor would be a plus
- Good English Skills, spoken and written
