About the Role

Partner Development Representative (PDR) – Payhawk.

As a PDR you will generate new leads and opportunities with potential Payhawk partners. You will be the first point of contact for prospective partners, conducting outreach through various channels, nurturing relationships, and ensuring smooth handover to the Partner Manager. You will receive the tools and coaching needed to thrive in a dynamic environment. Success will be recognised and rewarded through competitive financial incentives and clear career progression.


Role Overview

The PDR is responsible for identifying, engaging and nurturing high‑quality partnership opportunities. The primary goal is to schedule meetings for the Partner Manager with qualified, strategic potential partners aligned with Payhawk’s growth objectives. The PDR acts as the first point of contact, manages outreach, and ensures smooth handovers.


Key Responsibilities

* Partner Prospecting: Research and identify potential partners that align with Payhawk’s strategic goals, understanding their business model, pain points and how Payhawk can solve challenges.
* Outreach & Engagement: Develop and execute a strategy to reach out to potential partners via personalized emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn messages, engaging subtly and non‑intrusively.
* Lead Qualification: Engage with potential partners to understand their needs and assess fit based on business goals, market positioning and willingness to engage.
* Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings between the Partner Manager and qualified partners, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
* Follow‑Up & Nurturing: Maintain contact with prospects, address questions and keep them engaged, ensuring a continuous pipeline for the Partner Manager.
* Handover to Partner Manager: Provide a detailed handover with context including needs, expectations and previous communications.
* Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Partner Manager, Sales, Marketing and Product to align partnership strategies and refine outreach campaigns.


Skills & Qualifications

* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to engage with potential partners.
* Sales Acumen: Understanding of B2B sales processes and partnership development.
* Research Skills: Ability to research and identify partners aligned with company objectives.
* CRM Management: Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage interactions and track progress.
* Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships internally and externally through trust and transparency.
* Native German Fluency
