We are seeking an innovative and dedicated individual to join our team in the field of plastic waste pyrolysis. As part of this role, you will work on the development, validation, and implementation of a first-principles model for an industrial-scale plastic waste pyrolysis reactor.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will propose and develop a dynamic model for the process based on literature as well as internal expertise.
* Furthermore, you will implement the model in Python, adhering to best coding practices.
* You will validate the model using experimental data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* As part of your work, you will create clear visualizations, maintain thorough documentation and you will present your results to research partners.
Requirements:
* Ongoing studies in chemical engineering, process engineering, physics or mathematics.
* Experience in Python.
* Knowledge with dynamic models, including ordinary and partial differential equations.
