For our R&D Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for a CMF Designer ,
we welcome you to join a growing team of extraordinarily talented and enthusiastic people, developing tailor-made cars for the European market.
We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual who will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.
Interested candidates should be able to work mainly digitally, and in an agile and efficient manner. We will be designing for production as well as for advanced concepts.
You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally from an OEM in the automotive industry.
We want to work with flexible and enthusiastic individuals who will be required to support and inspire Chery design in three global locations with their enthusiasm and capability. You will need excellent communication skills and a good level of spoken and written English.
Job Description
• Work closely with automotive designers from all other departments and design leadership to support the creation of new and beautiful color and material themes for new products for China as well as international markets
• Support the European and Chinese Design Team to monitor latest color and material trends inside and outside of Europe and the automotive industry
Requirements:
* AI: trained in Mid journey, runway, higgsfield, liblib (china AI) is a plus, Adobe suit(PS, AI, ID plus ai),
* graphic design skillset (including branding, logo building, pattern 2D & 3D (grashpper is a plus)
* modelbuilding: model building experience is a must. Experience with chinese model building workshops is preferred
* model and material definition experience for showcars
* strong and proven experience in CMF departments preferable in automotive
* PowerPoint and office software to create and present your work content
* Can show skills in VRED or equivalent visualization software to visualize C&M visions and strategies
* Skills to establish new supplier relationship as well as managing suppliers
* Professional language skills in English mandatory, Chinese is very welcome
* Experience in Asian market/ international market welcome
* Experience in automobile design/industry design/textile design/fashion design at least 3-5 years
* Deep knowledge about automotive design development processes
* Ideally has worked in a bigger OEM for 3-5 years
* University degree in Product Design, Fabric Design or similar
* Highly creative and flexible
* Able to work in a fast pace environment
* Highly motivated and be good at team working and cross department collaboration
