Description As the Director of the Global NVO Program, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing relationships with our top customers, ensuring their satisfaction and alignment with our company's strategic goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our Global NVO Program and enhancing Hapag-Lloyd's reputation. Responsibilities Manage and oversee a portfolio of key global accounts, including a top 3 HL volume customer Define and set volume targets in collaboration with regional GNP teams Serve as a trade sponsor, working closely with GNP satellites to ensure trade strategy alignment Lead and own strategic S2030 projects, representing GNP's interests and vision Represent GNP globally at external and internal events, promoting Hapag-Lloyd's brand and services Align trade and customer strategies with internal stakeholders, including Trade Management, Regions, and Areas Set annual customer strategies in partnership with Regional Account Managers Monitor and drive customer performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategies Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer representatives to ensure strategic alignment Perform customer QBRs and negotiation meetings, traveling regionally and globally as needed Qualifications Relevant professional experience in a commercial role, preferably in a similar capacity Proven track record in handling large NVOs, understanding their dynamics, and negotiating effectively Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and convince diverse stakeholders Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a proven history of successful deal closures Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Teams Experience with CRM Salesforce is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of Hapag-Lloyd's systems and processes is an advantage Fluent in English, both written and verbal; German language skills are a plus Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and network effectively Analytical mindset, with a keen eye for identifying market opportunities and solving complex problems
