Job Overview
A fantastic opportunity to join TE Industrial Business Unit:
The TEOA Business System Leader (m/f/d) will drive cross-functional, strategic improvement initiatives with the goal to streamline the BCS sub-vertical business and deploying the TEOA Business System for all BCS sites and functions. This role will be positioned as a strong role reporting directly to the General Manager of BCS and includes direct interactions with TEOA IND BU and ACL sector with key stakeholders at Corporate TEOA to drive standardization and best‑practice sharing.
Job Requirements
* Analyze the as‑is state of the BCS sub‑vertical end‑to‑end (operations, business functions, interfaces)
* Define and drive the Business Excellence & Processes agenda for the Lighthouse site Adelberg
* Regularly assess the management system and steering KPIs and monitor their effectiveness
* Drive the TEOA Business System and guide the organization towards higher star level certification
* Ensure thorough stakeholder management by regularly interacting with all cross functionals including and not limited to Sales, Operations/ Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Finance, PM and other pertinent functions
* Lead and Support Value Drivers and Enablers as defined at BU and ACL Sector level
* Map out, align and document end-to-end processes, VSM and other Transformative projects
* Establish tiered training structures to deploy processes and ensure worldwide adherence
* Develop process improvement ideas as well as automation/digitalization concepts, socialize and pressure-test the improvements and drive them to success
* Work with P&L-owning subvertical (business segments) on process and interface improvements especially with regards to revenue maximization and inventory optimization
* Develop Roadmap and deploy the new TEOA Business system maturity across the BCS
* Measure, Monitor progress and launch projects that drives key TTi’s towards OPEX and Customer facing metrics Performance
* Hoshin Deployment and act as a Hoshin Champion to bring ACL sector and BU strategy to Execution
* Take on comprehensive projects and drive them with a high degree of latitude, ensure proper goalsetting and timelines as well as adequate staffing, own the project success
* Build an Army of problem solvers and Kaizen Facilitators and instill Kaizen culture
* Drive continuous upskilling of the Processes & Excellence team, emphasize talent development, assess talents from line functions for potential career paths into TEOA and program management roles
What your background should look like
* Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Business Transformation, PMO, or functional leadership
* Deep knowledge of Business Excellence and Lean methodologies
* Certified in Continuous Improvement (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent)
* Proven experience leading CI, transformation, and complex cross‑functional programs
* Strong track record in large, global, matrixed industrial organizations
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives while meeting scope, timeline, and objectives
* Experience leading teams, senior stakeholders, and subject matter experts
* Strong business acumen with end‑to‑end, cross‑functional perspective
* Excellent English language skills, German or additional language is a plus
