Role Overview
As the Talent Acquisition Lead (Recruiter), you will be responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment for the German market, while also contributing to strategic Europe-wide talent initiatives and projects. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, elevate the candidate experience, and help shape TA best practices for the region.
This role requires deep market knowledge, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Germany Focus)
* Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for corporate, retail, and operational roles across Germany.
* Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring needs and create effective recruitment strategies.
* Manage candidate sourcing using proactive techniques, including talent mapping, market research, and direct search.
* Conduct interviews and assessments, ensuring consistent evaluation and a positive candidate experience.
* Drive employer branding efforts tailored for the German talent market.
Europe-Wide Talent Projects
* Collaborate with HR and TA teams across Europe to deliver strategic talent programs (e.g., talent pipeline design, market intelligence, EVP initiatives, DE&I hiring projects).
* Support process improvements and harmonization of TA practices across European markets.
* Participate in regional workforce planning and succession-related discussions.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
* Provide recruitment insights, talent analytics, and market trends to senior leaders.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on hiring progress.
* Manage external partners such as recruitment agencies, job boards, tools, and assessment providers.
Process Excellence
* Champion data-driven recruitment decisions and continuous process optimization.
* Ensure compliance with local labor laws, GDPR, and internal policies.
* Promote best practices across candidate experience, interviewing, and onboarding.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
* 5+ years of hands-on recruitment experience, ideally within a global, high-volume, or retail environment.
* Strong understanding of the German labor market and recruitment trends.
* Experience collaborating on international or multi-country talent projects.
* Proficiency in recruitment tools and systems (ATS, sourcing platforms, HR analytics).
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
