The “Imaging and Sensing” department is looking for a student assistant, who will be enhancing existing, prototypically implemented algorithms for 3D calculation. Additionally, an experimental validation system must be assembled and characterized. In the case of challenging environmental conditions, the method of multi-scale parallel single-pixel imaging has the potential to enable breakthrough advances. The “image processing and AI” group contributes to this goal by bringing this novel method into 3d sensors.
After successful introduction, there is the possibility of working on the topic as part of a thesis (bachelor's or master's thesis).
