Key Responsibilities:
* Design components for cardiovascular devices using SolidWorks.
* Develop parts suitable for CNC machining, injection moulding, and extrusion processes.
* Build and test prototypes;
perform hands-on lab work including assembly, evaluation, and iterative design.
* Execute bench testing and write technical reports documenting results and design iterations.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
* Support design verification activities and contribute to design history file documentation.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
* 2–5 years of experience in medical device research and development.
* Strong experience with catheter systems or stent/valve delivery technologies.
* Proficient in SolidWorks and comfortable with engineering drawing and GD&T.
* Familiarity with part design for various manufacturing methods, including machining, moulding, and extrusion.
* Enjoys hands-on work in the lab - prototyping, assembling, and testing.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
