The role's purpose is to facilitate the implementation of METRO’s Multichannel Network Transformation globally, managing the evolution of network assets including design, approval, and execution across corporate and country stakeholders, aligned with the Group Strategy.
Job Description
1. Provide accurate, real-time information on METRO’s global network plan at various levels regarding status, investment proposals, approvals, and implementation.
2. Ensure build-to-suit of network transformation projects during design, optimizing capacity and infrastructure.
3. Implement and improve capacity calculation methods and simulation models based on site data and feedback.
4. Review network node performance post-implementation, identify best practices, and share insights globally.
5. Monitor saturation levels of the multichannel network, anticipate bottlenecks, and support targeted growth.
6. Design and enhance technological tools for network design, scenario analysis, and operational modeling.
7. Support countries in executing network transformation and train key stakeholders.
8. Define and align KPIs to trigger timely network adjustments considering service levels and costs.
9. Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, given the broad implications of the role.
