Responsibilities Works under the general supervision of Marketing Division/Branch Chief(s). Responsible for Visual Promotion of Family and MWR programs and facilities through printed materials, exhibits and oral presentations. Analyze and evaluate interactive and creative media requirements for internal and external customers in order to make recommendations for implementation and prioritize work for Family and MWR Marketing Division Assigns and monitors work of creative services staff to ensure timely completion of assigned projects. As a multimedia specialist, provides graphics and multimedia technical support to assist in developing, coordinating and implementing a comprehensive graphic design package for external and internal customers. Provides input on/develop branch budget. May perform full range of supervisory/lead responsibilities which include performance appraisals,disciplinary actions, leave approval, and hiring authority. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Demonstrated graphic design experienced including developing layout, using industry specific software to produce and promote ideas, services and products. 2. Extensive knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles and practices in Visual Information Production Operations and skill in applying this knowledge to communicate complex themes through visual materials and lead the development of concept/ideas for marketing and print to meet client objectives. 3. Progressive work experience in graphics design or education with a major study in graphic design, commercial art, fine arts,art history, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to this position. 4. Must have knowledge of printing, electronic publishing,illustration, and photographic techniques, theories, and practices. 5. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing and be skilled in interpersonal relations. 6. Demonstrated experience directing the flow of a department or team to ensure completion of long-and/or short-term projects. 7. Previous lead and/or supervisor experience. Minimum of (5) five years' of experience producing professional multimedia content (video, animation, interactive, mobile/web) supporting MWR or community engagement programs. Proficient with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and interactive media platforms. 3. Proven ability to lead creative teams, manage production timelines, assign tasks, and deliver high-quality multimedia assets across multiple projects. 4. Demonstrated experience supporting MWR or military organizations with media tailored to promote readiness, recreation, and family services. 5. Experience applying user-centered design (UX/Ul) principles to interactive content for kiosks, apps, digital signage, and social platforms. 6. Strong communication skills in briefing leadership, presenting campaign concepts, and aligning media with installation goals. 7. Bachelor's or master's degree in multimedia arts, visual communication, or related field ( transcripts must be uploaded with application under "transcripts") 8.
