Bactera is a biomedical startup in the field of microbiome diagnostics. As we are currently entering the final preparation phase before market launch, we are building our communication channels from the ground up. We are looking for a committed and creative Social Media Manager / Content Creator (m/f/d) as part of a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum).
This is an unpaid internship for a minimum of three months and is fully remote.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of a highly promising biomedical startup from the very beginning and potentially grow into a long-term team member.
You will be responsible for establishing and developing our social media presence across relevant platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, and potentially TikTok and YouTube). We are looking for someone who combines creativity with analytical thinking and who understands how to translate scientific topics into accessible, high-quality content.
Development and implementation of a social media strategy for a biomedical startup
Creation of educational and scientifically grounded content on microbiome research
Production of short-form content, including AI-generated video formats
Enrolled student (m/f/d) in Marketing, Communication, Media Studies, Digital Media, Business, or a comparable program
Mandatory internship required by your study regulations (Pflichtpraktikum)
Experience in content creation and social media management
Familiarity with AI-based content tools and video editing software
Excellent German and good English skills
