Visualization Designer (m/f/x)
ONVO is looking for a versatile Visualization Designer to join our Munich-based studio. This role will contribute to internal reviews and media releases, playing a key part in the creation of high-quality visual content.
Responsibilities:
* Create high-quality automotive videos and animation content for design communication, reviews, and presentations, including stills, visualization, and real-time experiences.
* Take an active, hands-on role in producing visual assets, covering scene setup, lighting, materials, look development, camera work, rendering, and post-production.
* Develop compelling visual narratives that effectively communicate design intent, proportions, surfaces, colors, materials, and product character with clarity and impact.
* Provide art direction input to enhance the overall visual quality and consistency of projects while remaining operationally involved in day-to-day content creation.
* Support real-time and immersive visualization workflows, including interactive reviews, Unreal Engine experiences, and VR applications.
* Independently prepare and organize incoming data, ensuring scenes are structured and maintainable for long-term use.
* Collaborate closely with designers, visualization artists, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate design goals into high-quality visual output.
Qualifications:
* Professional experience in automotive visualization, transportation design visualization, or related high-end product visualization fields.
* Expert-level skills in VRED, Unreal Engine, Blender, or similar related software.
* Strong experience in animation production, including camera language, pacing, sequencing, and presentation-oriented storytelling.
* Solid understanding of design visualization workflows for still images, films, and real-time experiences.
* Experience with real-time visualization, interactive presentations, and VR workflows.
* Proficiency in post-production using Premiere Pro or After Effects for video editing, compositing, and finishing.
* Highly organized and structured approach to working, especially in data preparation, scene organization, and file management.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with design teams and other stakeholders.
* Agency experience, AI skills, or modeling skills are a plus
* Help define and maintain visualization standards, workflows, and best practices within a small, highly collaborative team environment.
