Job Description
Welcome to our Research and Development (R&D) department in the TLD Americas division, located in Hannover. Our team, known as Spear Head, is responsible for the development and introduction of new PLT tire lines for the market in the Business Area Americas. We work closely with various stakeholders, including product management, material and platform development, product industrialization and manufacturing, to develop and implement innovative tire solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement cutting-edge PLT tire lines for the dynamic Americas market, drive innovation and excellence
2. Lead PROMT projects or SPAs to ensure groundbreaking tire technologies
3. Transform market and customer insights into technical requirement books
4. Support marketing and sales initiatives, including exciting launch events and compelling technical documentation, ensuring seamless product perception
5. Lead and inspire introduction teams with stakeholders across multiple departments and locations, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
6. Solve complex problems with innovative solutions, ensuring tire performance and product quality remain exceptional throughout their lifecycle
7. Contribute to diverse development projects, introducing new products that shape the future of the tire industry and support technical market understanding for the Americas region
Qualifications
8. Academic degree in engineering, natural sciences or comparable fields
9. Structured working style, analytical thinking and excellent communication skills
10. Ability to collaborate and steer technical driven topics
11. Experience in product, technology or platform development preferred
12. Project management skills and project leadership experience preferred
13. Fluent in English (written and spoken)
14. Self motivated team player who enjoys working in multicultural and performance oriented team
