One Click LCA is looking for a German-speaking Business Development Manager for the DACH region to join our fast-growing team, working to decarbonise buildings and construction, currently responsible for around 40% of global carbon emissions.

We are close to doubling our business each year. This means that you will play a pivotal part in making this happen within the construction and manufacturing sectors. Join us to help grow a business that plays a key role in delivering a zero-carbon future for us all.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and understanding customer needs to help them find solutions that ensure their success with our software. This is partially an outbound sales role, focused on engaging with both existing and potential customers to expand our market presence.

This full-time, permanent position is available on a remote basis for candidates based in Europe.


What you will do:

* Liaise with prospective clients to understand how their business needs can be solved and develop quotes for our solutions to bring on board new customers.

* Support existing customers by hosting specialist training sessions on LCAs and EPDs, and undertaking projects as required.

* Develop a strong understanding of the One Click LCA platform and its value for manufacturers.

* Educate prospects and customers on the value of EPDs, LCA tools, and low-carbon products.

* Keep up to date on developments around LCA and EPD standards, PCRs and practices.

* Increase One Click LCA’s presence in the DACH manufacturing ecosystem by attending relevant industry events, trade fairs, and developing partnerships with industry associations

* Work with the marketing teams to localise key content for the local regions.

* Work with the product teams to improve the tools for the respective market.


What you need:

* We are seeking someone with a proactive, hunter mentality in sales.

* Preferably 2+ years of commercial B2B Sales experience with a successful track record of growth and acquiring new clients.

* Motivation to help others succeed and to find solutions to overcome their obstacles.

* Fast learning skills and a desire to constantly improve.

* Degree or close to a degree in the construction industry, LCA, building sustainability or related area.

* Customer- and results-oriented attitude.

* Very good listening skills and ability to see the situation from a prospect’s/client’s perspective.

* Positive approach to business and learning, allowing you to learn what works and what does not.

* Ability to apply and learn structured SaaS sales methodologies in day-to-day sales activities (MEDDIC, BANT, Challenger sales etc.)

* Hands-on attitude and a drive to get things done.

* Proficiency in English, as it is our working language, and proficiency in German due to the region you will cover.
