To support this growth, the company is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Digital Engineering Services business unit, with a focus on the Insurance industry. This business unit specialises in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance, delivering impactful digital transformation projects and business-critical software solutions. Requirements Key Requirements/Responsibilities: 8 years of experience in business development, ideally within the Insurance sector, including both traditional insurers and Insurtechs. Underdentify and develop new business opportunities, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders. Stay informed about industry trends, attend relevant events, and engage with potential clients via social platforms like LinkedIn. Manage multiple sales opportunities through the full cycle, from prospecting to closing. Work closely with the Business Development Director while managing tasks independently. Contribute to compelling proposals that align with client needs. Collaborate on targeted campaigns with internal business development and enablement teams. Apply both strategic thinking and tactical execution. Candidate Profile: Proven experience in the Insurance industry, particularly in business development or solution delivery. Background in digital transformation projects or custom software solutions. Understanding of near-shoring or distributed delivery models. Interest or experience in software engineering-related projects. Strong consultative approach, excellent communication, and negotiation skills. Fluency in both German and English, with the ability to articulate technical/functional requirements. Willingness to travel within and outside the EU as needed.
