E-commerce Lead RESPONSIBILITIES:
E-commerce Strategy & Operations
•Develop and execute the overall e-commerce sales strategy for both the online store and Amazon
•Manage daily E-commerce operations, including product listings, pricing, campaigns, and stock coordination
•Oversee inventory levels and stock movement to ensure product availability and minimize overstock or shortages
•Optimise product content, images, and descriptions to enhance conversion and search visibility
•Plan and implement promotional activities, digital marketing campaigns, and seasonal sales initiatives
•Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
•Stay current on E-commerce trends, platform developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
Market & Sales Leadership
•Oversee and strengthen the brand’s online presence in Europe
•Supervise and guide an E-commerce sales team, leading strategic planning, target setting, and performance reviews
•Manage customer promotions, leveraging feedback to refine the sales and E-commerce experience
•Analyse consumer behaviour and market trends to develop actionable sales and marketing strategies
Customer Support & Experience
•Supervise customer service processes for E-commerce orders to ensure timely, accurate, and professional responses
•Resolve escalated customer issues related to orders, returns, or product inquiries
•Use customer feedback and analytics to improve service quality and enhance the overall online shopping experience
•Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and after-sales support
E-commerce Lead IDEAL CANDIDATE:
•3-5 years of experience in e-commerce and/or sales roles, preferably within the sports industry, or consumer goods industry
•Fluency in both German (business-level) and English is required
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
•Strong knowledge of E-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and German market dynamics
•Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams effectively
•Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills
•Proficiency in data analytics tools, CRM systems, and market analysis
