The Custom Consulting Team in Industry Solutions Delivery leads the way in accelerating adoption of the Microsoft platform and driving AI Transformation. Our organization hosts over 5,000 strategic sellers, industry experts, data scientists, architects, consultants, and delivery specialists, focused on delivering value across customers’ digital and AI transformation journeys.
As an EMEA Custom Consulting Executive in our Custom Consulting Team, you will lead, orchestrate and drive customer value through custom deal making in a sales capacity, expanding Microsoft’s AI Transformation influence and strategic partnership footprint across the region. You will own large strategic opportunities from inception to successful business outcomes and present solutions that enhance cloud consumption for our customers. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities
* Lead and orchestrate customer value through complex deal making, tackling major business challenges and accelerating career growth by leveraging cutting-edge solutions to drive transformational projects.
* Partner with local leaders and sales teams to establish strong partnerships and a regional approach aligned to company strategy, with strong stakeholder engagement across SPT and Area MCAPSSales teams.
* Bring impactful technology and industry insights into customer engagements, close deals, and coach others on consultative selling while building trust with C-level executives.
* Influence Microsoft’s strategic direction across markets by leading virtual cross-organizational teams on strategic projects and high-impact solution deployments that enable digital transformation and business value.
* Shape and sell custom consulting solutions with technical acumen, participate in sales planning and deal closure, and maximize Microsoft investments.
* Provide deal coaching and cross-area learning to benefit customers and Microsoft teams, driving consumption and placing AI at the forefront of initiatives.
* Continuously build sales and transformative solutions knowledge to support customers and the larger Microsoft team.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in solution-based selling across one or more CSAs, with the ability to position cross-CSA offerings and align customer needs with the portfolio.
* Experience selling into commercial or public sector accounts, understanding industry trends and tailoring solutions to industry-specific needs; ability to contribute to account planning.
* Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and driving executive meetings; ability to articulate the value proposition of solutions at the C-level.
* Exposure to consulting or solution architecture practices; ability to collaborate with technical and consulting teams to develop customer solutions.
* Experience driving sales cycles for digital transformation initiatives and positioning solutions aligned with transformation goals.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or related field with proven industry sales experience in commercial or public sectors; or Master’s Degree with strong technology sales background.
* Substantial experience in consulting solution sales and delivery is highly desirable.
