Responsibilities:
1. Technical management of internal and external suppliers in the further development of the electronic control unit (ECU) for SLS
2. Project planning, project tracking, project risk assessment, project change management, and reporting for the ECU hardware component
3. Deriving hardware requirements from customer and system specifications
4. Creating/adapting the circuit concept and circuit documentation (schematic, layout)
5. Creating requirements and test specifications for ECU hardware development
6. Creating end-of-line (EOL) test specifications for the ECU supplier
7. Calculating and simulating circuits and reviewing circuit diagrams
8. Technical management of layout development and definition of design rules for external suppliers
9. Commissioning and testing hardware components, creating EOL test specifications
10. Support in implementing functional safety and cybersecurity requirements
11. Support with S-FMEA, D-FMEA, P-FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA
12. Ongoing collaboration in improving system development processes
Qualifications:
13. Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a related field
14. Several years of experience in the development of control unit hardware as well as in technical project management
15. In-depth knowledge of common hardware development tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
16. Methodological knowledge of project and development processes in the automotive industry (A-SPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434)
17. Fluent German and English language skills
18. Strong implementation skills as well as good communication skills
