Activities include fabrication surveillance, testing oversight, documentation review and structured reporting in compliance with applicable standards and project specifications.
Project Overview
Smart Consulting & Inspection is supporting a cryogenic piping fabrication project located in Burgkirchen an der Alz, Germany.
We are seeking a locally based QA/QC Inspector to support fabrication activities under Smart Consulting technical coordination during the production phase.
Scope of Activities
Witnessing fabrication and assembly activities
Review of WPS, WPQR and welding documentation
Visual and dimensional inspections
Verification of fabrication records and material traceability
FAT and pressure test witnessing
Preparation of inspection reports in English
Required Profile
Experience in mechanical fabrication projects (piping and equipment)
Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication procedures
Familiarity with welding documentation (WPS, WPQR)
Basic knowledge of PED / EN standards
ISO 9712 Level II certification (VT, PT, MT; UT considered an asset)
Fluent English
Based within reasonable distance of Burgkirchen an der Alz
Engagement Model
Part-time presence (approx. 2–3 days per week)
Project-based collaboration (several months)
