About your team :
Internal Audit reports directly to the Management Board of FFB. Our mandate is to evaluate internal controls, governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management. We develop an annual audit plan based on a risk-based methodology, covering specific business areas and emerging risks. Our staff have extensive experience and professional qualifications.
About your role :
The Associate Director Technology Audit will report to the FFB Chief Auditor for Germany. You will lead technology-focused audit assignments, ensuring applications and infrastructure are effectively controlled and risks mitigated. You will plan and execute audits, produce reports for senior management, and work independently or in small teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead technology audits, plan scope, and manage completion within deadlines.
* Document testing, analyze results, and develop improvement actions.
* Coordinate with department heads for management responses.
* Engage with business stakeholders to validate findings.
* Collaborate on technology projects, systems development, and launches.
* Manage audits of outsourced technology activities and third-party controls.
* Assist in preparing reports for management and boards.
* Maintain the audit universe and conduct risk assessments.
* Develop your skills and those of your team.
About you :
* Proven leadership experience.
* Extensive IT audit, InfoSec, or IT security experience.
* Experience with systems development or projects.
* Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, CISSP.
* Proficiency in auditing OS, databases, networks, applications, cloud services.
* Data analytics skills.
* Knowledge of banking regulations (KWG, CRR, MaRisk, BAIT) and outsourcing regulations.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Report writing and presentation skills.
* Experience in operational and technology audits.
* Native or near-native German and fluent English.
