These means are used for the validation & verification throughout the life cycle of helicopter development.The used Test-System is a complete ecosystem of "Test Procedure Management Tools", "Automatic Test Sequencers", "Real-Time Test Tools", "Test Report management tools", "Simulation Frameworks", "Simulation Models", "Hardware interface boards for the Avionics", etc. In Donauwörth there are approx. 100 deployed occurrences of such Test-Systems, plus many mobile occurrences as well as many deployed simulations running on Linux based systems.Further Test-Systems are installed in France, Australia, Spain and Sweden. A close partnership with these entities is to be maintained, requiring international collaboration.Definition VIE The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
