Job Description:
Senior Account Engineer - Chemical Industry Specialist
80% to 90% workload dedicated to Account Engineering, including 10% to 20% of field/project/consulting work annually. Full-time (100%) AE dedication is also possible.
Position Requirements:
* Solid experience in Loss Prevention Engineering for Chemical Risks.
* Previous experience in account engineering (Loss Prevention) for clients in the chemical and similar industries.
* Knowledge of PSM and Dust Explosion hazards.
* Located in Germany or nearby, fluent in English and German.
* Willing to travel as needed.
* Desirable skills include experience in industries such as metalworking, heavy industry, pulp and paper, power generation, mining, food and beverage, and grains.

Primary Objectives:
* Meet client expectations and identify growth opportunities.
* Ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Maintain and enhance client relationships.
* Lead account teams if needed.
* Develop and update account servicing instructions and templates.
* Ensure technical accuracy and quality control.
* Monitor account reports and use GRC Connect database.
* Support client presentations and prepare reports.
Project and Consulting Support:
* Prepare documents for new and renewing business.
* Track time and expenses.
* Delegate tasks to support staff efficiently.
Functional Requirements:
* Review reports and documents, provide feedback.
* Update impairment database and respond to inquiries.
* Review workloads, project statuses, and reports weekly and monthly.
* Ensure database integrity quarterly.
* Review error reports and time/expense deviations.
Qualifications:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to write clear instructions and delegate.
* Recognized technical expertise.
Education:
Four-year college degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
