We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with deep experience in Azure Cloud and Databricks to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that support critical business operations and insights.
You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure the integrity, performance, and scalability of our data infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
* Build and optimize data models and data lakes to support analytics and machine learning workloads.
* Work with structured and unstructured data across a variety of sources (APIs, files, databases).
* Develop and maintain robust data ingestion and transformation workflows using PySpark, SQL, and Databricks notebooks .
Key Skills
* 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role.
* Strong proficiency in Azure data services
* Hands-on experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, notebooks, clusters, jobs).
* Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python for data manipulation and transformation.
* Fluent German & English speaking
