Your Tasks:
* As a software developer, you will implement applications for the PowerFactory grid calculation software.
* Your tasks will focus on the further development and maintenance of various stationary calculation methods such as load flow, short circuit, network reduction, cable calculation and related methods.
* Your responsibilities will include the entire development process: research, design, specification and implementation through to testing and maintenance.
* You will support our application engineers with customer support.
Your Profile:
* Successfully completed university studies as a Master/Dipl.-Ing. or Dr.-Ing. in electrical engineering with a focus on electrical power engineering or a comparable degree programme
* Experience in the development of network calculation methods, in particular stationary calculations such as load flow analysis, network reduction or short-circuit calculation
* Knowledge of modelling common equipment such as lines, transformers, generators, loads
* Practical experience in an object-orientated programming language (such as C++, Java, C#)
* Knowledge in the area of planning and operation of energy supply networks is an advantage
* You have good command of written and spoken English. A good command of German is of advantage.
* You are characterised by your teamwork and communication skills, motivation and ability to work under pressure
* You enjoy deepening your expert knowledge and developing new subject areas
