Your Responsibilities:
7. Contribute to the Safety Management System regarding FAL cases
8. Continuous process application improvement
9. Root cause analysis of aviation and safety-related speak-ups
10. Define and implement permanent containment actions and check their effectiveness
11. Lead or participate in multi-functional teams and act as an interface to other involved stakeholders (Safety Items Managers, Quality Conformance Managers, Manufacturing Engineering)
12. Tasks and responsibilities of SMS network members incl. recording of employees' speak-ups
13. Perform data analysis to monitor and report the activity and support decision making
14. Define and adapt local governance incl. their documentation
15. Prepare audits in coordination with the SMS network if necessary
16. Planning and execution of continuous improvement and prevention measures incl. decision-making
17. Organize and coordinate regular progress meetings, SMS case review meetings etc.
18. Manage the backlog and regular inflow of SMS cases
19. Foster a cross-fertilization among SMS case managers to enhance the learning curve
20. Ensure good level of communication between SMS network, stakeholders within the FAL Hamburg and other ecosystems
21. Deal with complex cross-functional problems in a volatile environment
Your Profile:
22. Completed studies in Aerospace, Engineering, Aircraft Construction, Industrial Engineering or comparable
23. Professional experience in Engineering, Process Improvement, Project Management, Quality Management and Data Analysis
24. Good knowledge of Lean and Total Quality Management
25. Basic knowledge of KAIZEN and Risk Management
26. Experience in use of SAP and Google Workspace
27. Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
