Description
At FLOCERT, IT security is about more than just protecting systems - it's about ensuring trust in fair global trade. As our new IT Security & Risk Manager, you will play a key role in making our digital backbone resilient, reliable and future-proof. Reporting directly to IT management, you will develop and implement security standards that help us fulfill our mission. Working closely with colleagues in IT, Legal, Privacy and Governance, you will create awareness, mitigate risk and ensure that our organization can continue to deliver on its promise: fair and secure trade worldwide.
* Job assignment: Full-time (38.5 hours per week)
* Location: FLOCERT GmbH Headquarters Bonn, Germany
* Salary: The salary and benefits package depends on qualifications and experience. It is based on the collective agreement for wholesale and foreign trade in NRW, salary group VIa
* Start date: As soon as possible
Tasks:
* Taking responsibility for the IT security of end devices, infrastructure, applications and cloud systems
* Develop and implement security concepts, policies and guidelines
* Identify threats and vulnerabilities and derive specific measures
* Continuously monitor, evaluate and improve IT security
* Take responsibility for findings from audits, reviews and security incidents and follow up on their resolution
* Participate in business continuity management and the evaluation of service providers
* Collaboration on IT security projects and monitoring new developments and trends
Qualifications,
experience and
skills:
* Completed studies or professional qualification in the field of IT or IT security
* At least 5 years of professional experience in IT operations practice
* Sound knowledge of IT security systems and standards (e.g. GDPR, ISO/IEC)
* Experience in security analyses, assessments and project management
* Excellent documentation, analysis and communication skills
* Business fluent in English and German
