Design of Beckhoff PLC programs (TwinCAT3) based on project specifications and documentationDesign of safety programs (TwinSAFE)Support the development of standardized code blocksTest and commissioning of the PLC systems in the fieldInvestigate and solve technical issues in the fieldMaintain, support and further develop installed systemsParticipation in risk assessment reviews and development of safety requirement specificationsAnalysis of technical requirements and specifications for developing automation solutionsClose communication with other groups
Academic degree in the field of electrical or electronics engineering/industrial automation or comparable educationExperience in PLC programming in structured text (IEC 61131-3) languageExperience with safety systems integrated into PLCs, EU Machine Regulation and EN ISO 13849Experience with electric drives and motion systems (e.g. stepper, linear, nano motion, etc.)Knowledge of different industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Modbus, serial interfaces, etc.GIT, Redmine)Experience with SCADA/HMI systems for integration with PLCsExperience with TwinSAFE (TwinCAT Safety) is considered an assetExperience with NC PTP Beckhoff libraries and TwinCAT 3.1 is considered an assetKnowledge of different programming languages such as Python or C# is considered an asset; interest in learning new onesHighly developed problem-solving skillsGood communication skills and the ability to work in a multilingual, multidisciplinary team with English as the working language
