As part of our development in Germany, we are looking for a Technical Director to lead and structure our technical operations and teams in Munich.
This role is designed for a senior technology leader with a broad IT background (software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity) and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
The Technical Director will combine technical leadership, team management, business contribution, and strategic positioning in the German market.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
* Define and drive the technical strategy for the German entity
* Ensure high standards of technical delivery and architectural quality
* Oversee projects across software, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity domains
* Act as senior technical reference in client engagements
* Contribute to solution design and technical proposals
Team Management & Talent Development
* Build, structure, and lead technical teams
* Recruit senior engineers, architects, and cybersecurity experts
* Evaluate technical competencies and ensure high hiring standards
* Mentor and develop team leads and senior consultants
* Foster a culture of technical excellence and accountability
Business & Client Engagement
* Support business development with strong technical credibility
* Engage with CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs on strategic IT topics
* Contribute to pre-sales activities and complex bids
* Bridge business objectives with technical execution
* Promote innovation and high-value consulting positioning
Operational & Strategic Contribution
* Contribute to P&L performance through technical efficiency and delivery excellence
* Align local technical strategy with global objectives
* Identify new technology trends and market opportunities
* Support the long-term structuring of the German entity
Profile
Experience & Background
* 10+ years in IT, technology services, or consulting environments
* Experience in a senior technical leadership role (Technical Director, Head of Engineering, CTO, etc.)
* Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams
* Strong understanding of the German IT and consulting landscape
Technical Expertise
* Broad IT expertise covering software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
* Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and practices (governance, risk, SOC, cloud security)
* Experience with modern architectures and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Ability to assess, challenge, and validate technical solutions and team capabilities
