Job Opportunity : Catholic Religious Education Coordinator Location : Stuttgart, Germany Start Date : Immediate Schedule : Part-Time On-Call This is a part-time on-call (PTOC) position.
1. (*Substitute and replace personnel for planned and unplanned absences at the Administrative office.
Personnel should be available on short notice.) Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinating sacramental programs, RCIA, catechist/teacher training, and youth programs Planning seasonal events like Vacation Bible School, Christmas Pageants, and Stations of the Cross Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, attendance tracking, facility requests, and budgeting Working closely with the Catholic Chaplain and Chapel staff to support the overall program QUALIFICATIONS: A familiarity with the Catholic Faith and practice as articulated by the documents of The Second Vatican Council and the subsequent statements of the American Conference of Catholic Bishops is preferred.
A Roman Catholic faith is preferred but not mandatory.
Possess an exemplary moral character.
Two years’ experience working in an office environment Possess an Associate’s Degree or equivalent education/training.
Experience in teaching.
Have excellent organization and planning skills.
Possess basic word-processing skills.
Experience working in a military environment is preferred.
Must have a working knowledge of applicable Army Regulation AR-165-1 and be familiar with the Chapel Tithes and Offerings Fund CTOF.
Contractor must be willing to work in a pluralistic environment where they may come in contact with members from various faith groups and/or viewpoints.
2. DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status This position is not eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
