Investigate Stromal Epithelial Crosstalk
The successful candidate will work jointly between two leading research institutions to investigate stromal epithelial crosstalk in colorectal cancer initiation progression and therapy resistance.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply cutting edge bioinformatics approaches to human relevant models and unique patient derived tissue cohorts from colorectal cancer.
* Dissect the tumor ecosystem with a particular emphasis on epithelial cells cancer associated fibroblasts and immune cells.
* Develop novel computational tools for the analysis of large scale genomic data.
Requirements
* PhD in Biological Sciences Data Science Computational Biology or a related field.
* Strong background in computer programming with expertise in R and at least one additional scripting language.
* Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
