Technical Manager - Mine Surveying
Your responsibilities
Overall responsibility for all technical matters of the company in the field of mine surveying
Management of 15 employees
Deployment and resource planning
Guidance and control for all projects in the areas of:
Official mine plans and maps
Measurements/evaluations as part of monitoring measures, including reporting
Surveying of mineral deposits, mine workings, tailings piles and open pit mines
Surveying support for major projects
Support for further projects in the areas of:
3D laser scanning
BIM - Building Information Modeling
Aero sensors
Development and implementation of innovative ideas in all areas
Acquisition of new projects, bid preparation and calculations
Assisting with corporate processes
Representation of the company at conferences, trade fairs and events
Direct reporting line to management
Your profile
You have a university degree in mine surveying or geoinformatics
You have many years of professional experience in mine surveying or surveying
You are well-versed in using AutoCAD
Ideally, you have experience in using at least two of the following applications: Geographer, Card/1, GPS, Leica total station, laser scanner or digital level
You have experience with surveying calculations, e.g. with CREMER
You have strong leadership and communication skills as well as a motivating personality
