JOB SUMMARY
As a neurosurgery consultant at a top-tier hospital in Saudi Arabia, your role would involve providing specialized neurosurgical care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. You would be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing patients, developing tailored treatment plans, and performing complex surgical procedures with the support of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise in neurosurgery would contribute to the hospital's commitment to delivering high-quality, cutting-edge care .
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides high-quality Neurosurgical care to patients in this area of medicine.
2. Provide consultative service as requested.
3. Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
4. Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
5. Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
6. Performs special procedures as privileged.
7. Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
9. Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
10. Completion of required period of training in Neurosurgeryand/or Subspecialty
11. Saudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent.
12. Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
13. A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
14. Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
15. Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in Neurosurgery.
16. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council
Language
17. Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
References
