QA Engineer (m/f/d) – Drone Security & Robotics Systems – Achern Reference number: 2024-29 The following challenges await you Holistic quality assurance Development and implementation of test strategies and test plans for complex safety solutions (software & hardware). Manual and automated testing Performing API, GUI, and performance tests as well as analyzing, tracking, and evaluating error patterns. System and field testing with responsibility Planning, executing, and managing field tests to validate system performance, functionality, and user experience under real-world conditions. Active participation in product development Working closely with development, system engineering, and product management to continuously improve quality. Ensuring standards, guidelines, and compliance Ensuring and complying with relevant norms and standards, in particular AQAP and DIN ISO/IEC 27001, in the regulatory and military environment. Varied locations Combination of work at the Memprechtshofen site and targeted external assignments at customer sites and test sites. What is important to us Several years of experience in the QA environment, ideally with system proximity (software & hardware). Formal training is welcome, but your technical expertise is what really counts. Experience with standards and quality requirements – preferably AQAP, ideally from the German Armed Forces or government environment. Knowledge of Jira and YouTrack is an advantage. Technical understanding of complex safety-related systems; drone or sensor systems are a plus. Structured, independent way of working with a strong "get-it-done" mentality. Very good German and good English skills.
